Milkweed for the Monarchs Workshop (1)

Let’s make 2021 great for the Monarchs! We have Milkweed seeds to sow!! Come out and bring a friend. This will be an outdoor event. We have pots, we have soil, and we have seeds! Plant up seeds and take home with you.

Milkweed seeds need a cold spell to germinate, at least two months of cold. On January 9th, come by the Farm and plant some for your home. Keep the pot outside all winter so the seeds get that cold they need, and you should see some sprouts starting in the Spring. Once the seedlings are large enough, transplant into your landscape.
