Now that the weather has turned…yep…I’m already wearing an extra layer…it’s getting time to get into holiday mode.
Just announced, we are having a kid nature ornament series each Saturday morning at 11am at the Farm. Enjoy a walk around the farm to see the changing landscape and see what our animals are doing. We will collect some items along the walk, return back to the goat area to make an ornament that your child can hang in an outside tree. We will start the series Saturdays in November until December 11th. Sign up and reserve your child’s spot, as spaces are limited. Parents are free.
If you are also interested in doing some grown up workshops here’s what we are working on to offer…. Wreath Decorating, Make your own Porch Pot, Handmade Gift-giving…. costs and descriptions will be posted soon. Keep following us on Instagram and Facebook. You can use the link or just RSVP for the events on our website. www.alittlefarmandnursery.com
We are expecting our Christmas trees to arrive at the farm, freshly cut, the week of Thanksgiving. The Yard will be filled with Fraser Firs, Concolor, and Douglas Firs. A range of sizes, however, the larger ones will go quickly, so make sure you come and choose yours the day after Thanksgiving when they go on sale. As in years past, wreaths, grave blankets, swags are made fresh to order. We are offering three sizes of wreaths this year.
Well, it’s off to play in the dirt!
